The EcoSpin magnetic encoder is a modular, non-contact sensor system that’s designed for space-restricted rotational speed and angular measurement applications. The system has a depth of 10 millimeters, contains no moving parts and is IP67 rated. A spacer strip, mounted between the magnetic ring and the sensor, eliminates the need for a feeler gauge, easing installation. It measures the rotational speed of spindles, shafts, rollers, and webs in motion control, textile production, printing wood/timber processing, packaging, machine tool, medical, electric motor, and wood/timber processing applications.
