Precision electric actuators

New motor control technology combines position accuracy with battery backup and continuous duty capability.

Valvcon ADC series electric actuators provide increased positioning resolution and torque, along with new processor control technology. Coupled with constant charge internal batteries, the new motor control technology provides positioning accuracy greater than 0.5% and continued operation after the loss of line power. The rugged, compact quarter-turn electric actuators are designed for use with PLCs and control systems requiring constant movement and high duty cycle.

Standard features include hardened steel gears, standard ISO5211 mounting interfaces, stall protection and a sleep/wake mode to preserve battery power. The actuators also have signal-fail position options, switch selectable power loss position, on-board manual control, battery status indication and up to 10 full cycles after loss of line power.
