Labelmaster hosts successful dangerous goods shipping symposium

By Plant Engineering Staff January 12, 2007

Labelmaster , a U. S.-based manufacturer of dangerous goods compliance products, recently sponsored a symposium specifically targeting instructors responsible for dangerous goods training. The two-day symposium, held at the Embassy Suites Miami Airport, featured attendees representing airlines, cargo companies, commercial training firms, government trainers and instructors within private industry who ship dangerous goods.

“When we looked at industry forums, there wasn’t anything focusing on the unique needs of the hazmat instructor,” said Neil McCulloch, manager of international products for Labelmaster. “Yet we kept hearing from hazmat instructors about the great need for improving the quality and effectiveness of their training that was not being met.”

Sessions included a variety of how-to seminars covering numerous topics and a selection of presentations on regulatory issues, among others. Visit www.airregs.com/conferences for more information on the sessions and the presenters.
