Dr. Kulkarni holds over 10 years of experience in the construction and design industries supported by knowledge in operations improvement for noted pharmaceutical, chemical, food and beverage, semiconductor, and financial industries. His contributions to the life science and food industries have helped improve product quality, influence the cost of goods, and safeguard/improve consumer safety and health. Niranjan has helped grow CRB’s operations improvement services by over 15% in revenue each year, and after starting as CRB’s first industrial engineer, leads a group several industrial and process engineers. His balance of industry and academic exposure allows him to share industry best practices. He is the co-author of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering’s Good Practice Guide: Operations Management and has also co-authored a book chapter in Lecture Notes in Computer Science. Some more of Niranjan’s professional accomplishments include increasing annual revenue for an active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer by $8 million, capital cost avoidance over $15 million for an oral solid dosage manufacturer, and developing a strategic plan and increasing revenue by $10 million annually for a ready-to-eat food producer.
