The H-compact PLUS DH710 large ac induction motor has an output capability of up to 18,000 hp and shaft heights up to 710 mm. Features include highly conductive copper rotors and stator windings; a low-friction design; sleeve bearings; hazardous area protection in accordance with IEC, ATEX and NEC; low vibration levels; an available low-noise option; and blower-cooling options for full-range adjustable-speed drive capabilities. The motor operates on 6.0-13.2 kV, 50/60 Hz.; or 3.3-6.6 kV for converter-fed operation.
