The Block I/O system is designed for industrial in-cabinet use. The IP20 system is an effective way to connect industrial I/O devices to a PLC or PC controller over an industrial network. Standard DIN-rail mounting makes it convenient to install, and adds flexibility to the design. The customizable legends and highly visible LED indicators provide for easy setup and operational validation during the installation and maintenance phases of an automation project. The BradControl Block I/O system is comprised of a network adapter and up to 32 expansion modules mounted in an enclosure close to the field devices. The ribbon cable-based expansion bus, which handles inter-module communication, operates at 11 MBaud, is permitted to be 6.5 meters in length and can accommodate a maximum of 10 groups of modules.
