He also serves as an active member of the TC118/SC06/WG01 ISO 1217 technical committee, collaborating with industry experts to review and revise international compressor performance standards. Through his technical expertise and commitment to advancing best practices, Dimitri is helping shape the future of compressed-air technology and performance testing.
Why Dimitri Chose This Career
Dimitri’s career path was inspired by his father, who introduced him to the heavy industrial equipment industry at an early age. Before attending college, he spent years working alongside his father, gaining hands-on experience with overhead cranes and mill equipment while developing a strong work ethic and practical understanding of mechanical systems.
Those early experiences sparked a passion for engineering and problem-solving that continued to grow throughout his education and career. The opportunity to turn real-world challenges into innovative solutions ultimately led Dimitri to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering and a profession he continues to enjoy every day.
