Compact Ethernet expansion chassis

The NI 9144 expansion chassis adds deterministic Ethernet I/O to NI CompactRIO or NI PAC system. The eight-slot chassis for NI C series modules communicates over EtherCAT. The expansion chassis features real-time distributed I/O over standard Ethernet cable; compact size; two Ethernet ports; and industrial specifications for harsh environments.

The NI 9144 expansion chassis adds deterministic Ethernet I/O to NI CompactRIO or NI PAC system. The eight-slot chassis for NI C series modules communicates over EtherCAT. The expansion chassis features real-time distributed I/O over standard Ethernet cable; compact size; two Ethernet ports; and industrial specifications for harsh environments. The C series modules feature sensor-specific signal conditioning per module; up to 24-bit resolution; and up to 256 channels per chassis. Out of the box, the installation process for the chassis involves installing the NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT driver on the master controller. LabVIEW Real-Time Module 8.6 automatically recognizes all connected slaves and their modules.
