The UniSort MXT software module is a patent-pending sortation subsystem for increasing sorter throughput. A PC-based upgrade to new or existing systems, the software module achieves higher throughputs by maximizing product density. Its algorithms are designed to optimize merging, induction and sortation, enabling rates in excess of 300 cartons per minute. It is designed for optimal performance in systems using servo-based induction and high-speed merging, though it can also be used with fixed-speed induction systems and other configurations.
