Environmental Health
Environmental health refers to the measures taken to ensure that the physical and chemical environment in which workers and other individuals are present is safe and does not pose a threat to their health. It includes the identification, evaluation and control of environmental factors in the workplace that may cause illness, injury or discomfort, such as exposure to hazardous chemicals, poor air quality, noise and vibration.
