Self-contained, battery powered RF field modems are compatible with Digi wireless networks. The modems connect to RS-232 devices such as PDA’s and are engineered to provide system integrators with the ability to add battery-powered nodes to existing wireless networks for point-to-point applications. The modems support up to 1,000 MW of transmit power output when externally connected and 500 MW when powered by battery.
