Cavitation is the collapsing of gaseous formations in the pumped fluid that causes erosion and pitting. This device is the only positive means of ensuring a consistent inlet pressure to the pump, especially with long feed lines, booster pumps, and spiking return valves. Three capacity ranges are up to 15, 45, and 75 gpm. Adapters cover pipe sizes 3/4-1-1/2 in. 1-1/4-2 in., and 2-2-1/2 in.
