Three new maintenance studies available for download

Life Cycle Engineering has released three news case studies on issues facing the maintenance engineer. These studies are now available at www.plantengineering.com in the Research section of the Engineer’s Resource Guide.

The studies include:

  • Manufacturing Approach to Reliability Excellence by Darrin Wikoff. He writes about how an organization can achieve reliability excellence by involving not only maintenance, but also operations, engineering, materials and procurement, and other functions operating within the same business, regardless of business unit physical boundaries.

  • Scheduling…Not Just a Maintenance Thing! by Darrin Wikoff. He discusses how successful organizations need to look past the idea of centralized manufacturing- scheduling process to make sure that all aspects of the manufacturing process are considered in the maintenance scheduling.

  • Developing your other assets…the people , by Shon E. Isenhour. He discusses ways to make the best use of the shrinking training dollars and how to begin the paradigm shift that must happen for us to keep training in the forefront and propel us to the next level in the maintenance and reliability realm.
