Labelmaster , a provider of products for the handling and shipment of dangerous goods, announces the formation of Labelmaster Services, Inc., which will provide dangerous goods packing, consulting and other hazmat-related products to shippers, freight forwarders, manufacturers and distributors in the United States. Labelmaster Services is expected to start operations in October 2007 with the opening of a dangerous goods packing facility in the Chicago O’Hare area.
“We see the need for shippers, freight forwarders, manufacturers and distributors to be able to handle dangerous goods shipments safely and conveniently,” said Alan Schoen, COO of Labelmaster Services.
Pia Jala joins Labelmaster Services, Inc. as vice president of operations after serving as global manager of dangerous goods for Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo.
“Pia brings unsurpassed experience and expertise in shipping dangerous goods by air internationally,” said Dwight Curtis, president of Labelmaster.
