The Agile1500 is the first automated guided vehicle (AGV) is modular, scalable, and reconfigurable. It can carry more than 1.5 tons, with a maximum speed of 5 feet per second. It also can increase overall plant safety thanks to advanced security features and an integrated laser scanner that stops the AGV upon detection of an obstacle along its route. It works with multiple navigation systems that use both natural landmarks (walls, objects, etc.) as well as predefined points (magnetic spot and magnetic tape).
