With over 15 years of experience in Process Systems Engineering and Process Control, Chris has been able to apply his expertise across a broad range of industries including: Mineral Refining, Metals Trading, Agfood Processing, and Biological Control Systems. At Cargill, Chris has developed best-practice control strategies for standardizing Vegetable Oil Processing Operations across the company’s global fleet of oil refineries. He led the identification of Process Operability & Control opportunities for improvement at several oil and tomato processing plants in USA, Germany, and Brazil; as well as developed and implemented an innovative control strategy for Ethanol distillation at two plants resulting in annual savings of over $1M. Chris was also responsible for the evaluation, procurement, and deployment of a continuous Control Loop Performance Monitoring solution at over 40 of Cargill’s manufacturing sites. Growing up in economically-challenged Jamaica, Chris learned at an early age the benefits of attacking problems directly, systematically, and using the best information available to solve them.

Fun Fact: Chris is a native of Jamaica and, as a youngster, loved exploring the island’s mountains, beaches, and other natural wonders.
