Berning is a rising leader within Interstates Control Systems. For nearly 10 years, he has grown his technical expertise and is currently serving as a lead control systems analyst. He leads projects and a team of people to deliver high quality controls solutions across a number of platforms. Berning’s solid technical background of programming concepts helped Interstates derive standard batching functionality for chemical processing facilities, which have been expanded upon for the past 7 years. Those projects, along with other Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Batching applications, have placed Berning in several magazine publications along with involvement in RSTeched presentations for all of the automation world to learn from. After completion of Interstates’ first Rockwell Automation FTBatching deployment, Berning became a lead control systems analyst for Interstates where he has led projects and developers the past 4 years. Outside of work, Berning enjoys fishing and four-wheeling with his 6-year old son.
