Now in its 38th year, the Plant Engineering Product of the Year program continues to recognize the most innovative and impactful new products serving manufacturing and non-manufacturing facilities. This annual reader-choice awards program highlights technologies that are helping plants improve reliability, efficiency, safety and sustainability while adapting to increasingly complex operational demands. Eligible products were introduced to the North American market in 2025 and nominated by their manufacturers or marketing agencies.
As with every year, the program is defined by the expertise of Plant Engineering’s audience. Readers evaluated nominated products based on technological advancement, service to the industry and market impact, casting votes in categories aligned with their experience. Their input ensures that the winning products reflect real-world value — solutions that address critical challenges such as uptime, workforce safety, energy management, digital transformation and maintenance optimization. The resulting Winners eBook features 28 products across multiple categories, including one product recognized as the Most Valuable product — the program’s highest honor.
