EXAIR has introduced the ATEX EasySwitch wet-dry vac for industrial cleanup in ATEX Zones 1 and 21. The pneumatic system is intended for wet and dry applications in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres.
The ATEX EasySwitch is designed for use in environments involving explosive gas and combustible dust. It includes a static-dissipative design and grounding to reduce electrostatic buildup. Because it operates on compressed air, it contains no electrical components or motors. A latch mechanism allows users to switch between dry vacuuming and liquid recovery. The system can be used with materials including dust, powders, coolant, chips and absorbents.
