TrafFix Devices highlights TrafFix Urbanite Pedestrian Wall, a modular barrier system designed to address current safety and crowd management requirements. The Urbanite features lightweight construction and durable materials, allowing for easier setup and reliable protection in pedestrian zones, events and construction sites.
Weighing23 pounds, the Urbanite can be lifted, positioned and moved by hand, allowing quick setup and adjustment as needed. Although light weight, the wall’s double-walled, rigid design provides strength and durability for extended use. The wall is constructed from high-density, UV-stabilized polyethylene to minimize fading and urface degradation during outdoor use.
Each six-foot-long Urbanite section includes blow-molded male and female connectors that allow multiple walls to be joined firmly and adjusted as needed. The system’s three-inch thickness allows for efficient transport and storage. Ten molded vertical openings help reduce wind resistance and overall weight while maintain stability and visibility. The wall includes a continuous handrail designed to assist in guiding pedestrians along designated routes.
