Thermo Fisher Scientific has added the Thermo Scientific Niton XL5e Handheld XRF Analyzer to its Niton portfolio for field-based elemental analysis in industries including scrap metal recycling, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing and metal recovery. The instrument is intended for applications such as materials verification, mining analysis and manufacturing quality control. The Niton XL5e Analyzer is designed for fast processing and field use in rugged environments. Thermo Fisher says the analyzer supports extended operation and includes IP54-rated protection for use in industrial settings.
