Non-contact torque sensors

High-performance, non-contact sensors use infrared telemetry to measure rotational torque in dynamometer systems.

High-performance, non-contact sensors use infrared telemetry to measure rotational torque in dynamometer systems. Their design incorporates a variation on standard configurations by featuring interconnecting splines on both ends, and they achieve savings in setup time and axial length by eliminating extra adapters. The 01251 IR torque sensor family can be configured in multiple attachment configurations and can also be designed to measure axial thrust. Sensors are available in single, dual, and custom flange designs with capacities ranging from 1,000 to 250,000 inch-pounds.
