The Smart Managed Compact Switch (SMCS) has eight ports capable of simultaneous Gigabit operation. The SMCS is suitable for Profinet, EtherNet/IP and standard Ethernet applications. Two versions are available, one with eight twisted-pair ports, and another with six twisted-pair and two fiber ports. The switch can be configured using the Web browser, Simple Network Management Protocol or a serial connection. Other features include port statistics and diagnostics, broadcast/multicast limiter and port mirroring.
