EISA’s impact on manufacturers, energy, and dust collection

Congress passed the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA). This law requires that all general purpose, three-phase AC industrial motors from 1 to 500 horsepower that are manufactured for sale in the United States Dec. 19, 2010 and later will need to meet mandated efficiency standards.
