A service life estimation CD-ROM and accompanying reference table for respiratory cartridges assist users in complying with the revised OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.134. The regulation states that air purifying respirators must have an end-of-service life indicator or “have a change-out schedule for canisters and cartridges that is based on objective information or data that will ensure that canisters and cartridges are changed before the end of their service life.” The CD-ROM takes care of the second condition.
