Ultrasound World III to focus on new technology and plant maintenance issues

By Plant Engineering Staff July 19, 2006

Ultrasound World III, an annual seminar that immerses plant maintenance managers and supervisors, inspectors and technicians in the latest ultrasound detection, analysis and software trends, will take place November 5 – 8, 2006 at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort Hotel in Clearwater Beach, FL.

This year’s event is expected to attract record attendance from the U.S. and abroad with its focus on how ultrasound can help reduce energy waste and improve production, increasing productivity and cost savings. By drawing on actual case histories, speakers from a range of maintenance disciplines will discuss how these issues relate to overall company profitability and equipment reliability. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new innovations in the technology and how it can be successfully integrated into vibration and infrared inspection programs.

Ultrasound World III will also provide individuals looking to become a certified maintenance reliability professional the opportunity to take the CMRP test on-site. The qualification exam will be given by The Society of Maintenance Reliability Professionals.
