UL’s Williams added to NFPA board
President and CEO of UL also spent time with Medtronic, GE.
Keith F. Williams, president and CEO of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. , a not-for-profit product safety and certification organization, was added this week to the National Fire Protection Association ’s board of directors.
According to NFPA, before joining UL he spent eight years with Medtronic , a technology provider for medical device therapies. Before joining Medtronic, he spent more than 20 years at General Electric , where he served on company boards of directors in Japan, Korea, India and Thailand. He was also recently elected to the board of directors of the US-China Business Council .
