Survey studies energy saving practices in process industries

ARC study to look at how manufacturers are cutting energy costs

ARC Advisory Group is conducting a survey to identify the best practices in energy management in the process industries. The cost of energy has risen dramatically in recent years, and the effect on operating costs and profits is keenly felt. The object of this research is to learn how the process industries address increasing energy costs, and what is being done in the area of energy management and energy efficiency.ARC officials said, “We hope to understand how companies are affected by high energy costs, how they are organized to tackle the problem, and what projects or initiatives are underway to improve energy efficiency.”
