LX2-V Laser Thrubeam sensor uses a parallel laser beam to detect minute differences in target size with a 5-micron resolution at 12 in. The size of the target’s shadow is the same as the object, enabling accurate detection of minute differences in target size. The sensor is intended for applications that do not require expensive, high accuracy measuring instruments. The sensor’s compact size is ideal for applications where space is limited.
