Interlocks

Trapped key interlocks prevent access to live electrostatic precipitators and promote worker safety. The interlocks’ system forces workers to adhere to a systematic process each time internal access to a precipitator is required. Each step releases a key that permits activation of the next stage in the process, which disallows access to live precipitators.

The device’s end-coding system facilitates faster delivery of interlocks, and the key transmits more torque to the lock than a standard pin tumbler key.
