Eriez 1200 series industrial metal detectors — designed for the coal, aggregate, glass, cement and mining industries — detect ferrous and nonferrous tramp metals to protect expensive processing equipment such as crushers and conveyor belts. The detector uses pulse induction technology and state-of-the-art electronics to detect tramp metal in even the most challenging applications. Seven models are available with sensitivities ranging from 10% to 1.5% of the aperture height. The coil design allows a maximum tramp metal size to be user-defined so that smaller pieces can be ignored.
