Cortec’s EcoShield 386 water based coating powered by Nano VpCI is a water based corrosion inhibitor that protect metal structures in extremely harsh outdoor conditions with a thin high gloss clear coat. The coating may be used in industrial, energy, oil and gas, automotive applications. The acrylic based formula of EcoShield 386 uses a complex mixture of nano sized non-toxic organic inhibitors which provide protection to traditional corrosion inhibiting coatings. Other features fast drying, low VOC, resistant to sagging or running, non-flammable protective barrier, and UV resistance that discourages cracking or chipping under extended sunlight exposure.
