Peter Clamping Shrink Discs are keyless locking devices that squeeze shafts to gears or shafts to shafts for applications requiring high torque power transmission. The discs maintain locking pressure indefinitely, with no deformation of shafts or gears; and allow easy assembly and removal. The special shrink design allows slippage if the preset torque is exceeded. Torque capacities up to 1,430,750 ft-lb are available for shafts up to 40-in. diameter.
