Curing stubbornness

Problem: Some nuts are often stubborn, and no amount of penetrating oil and manual effort seem to help get them off. What can be done? Solution: For only the most difficult of jobs, put iodine on the nuts and bolts and wait a while.

Problem: Some nuts are often stubborn, and no amount of penetrating oil and manual effort seem to help get them off. What can be done?

Solution: For only the most difficult of jobs, put iodine on the nuts and bolts and wait a while. A socket wrench is then able to get them off.

Remember to put a drip pan or bucket underneath, and wear rubber gloves when applying iodine or tincture of iodine.
