ASME International Gas Turbine Institute launches Webinar series

The International Gas Turbine Institute of ASME will conduct the first of more than 20 Webinars in 2007, beginning January 3 at 11 a.m. EST. The one-hour program, “Global Energy Conversion: Role of Gas Turbines” will offer a state of the industry primer for the global gas turbine community.

Hosted by Lee Langston, professor emeritus at the University of Connecticut’s Department of Mechanical Engineering , the Webinar will discuss how, in less than 70 years, gas turbine technology has evolved to become a dominant power source for aircraft propulsion and global electric power generation.
