The ARC Asset Lifecycle Management Forum will take place Oct. 13-15 at the Marriott Westchase Hotel in Houston. The “Digital Plant of the Future” forum will discuss optimizing asset lifecycle performance through better Asset Information Management (AIM).

The forum will provide its attendees with several tools to better serve their asset performance including learning approaches to accelerate capital projects, discover how to use virtual plant and process models to optimize plant design and build processes, compare AIM vision and solution strategies of leading technology suppliers and listen to industry and standards groups to enable better information interoperability.

Some of the speakers and topics covered will include:

“AIM Excellence in Operations and Maintenance” (Panel Discussion) with Jim Simpson, Petro-Canada, Tom Hannigan, Zackry Industrial Services, Magnus Pousette, ABB Reliability Services, John Cusimano, Siemens Energy & Automation and Pradeep Nair, IBM Tivoli. It addresses:

“Leveraging Process and 3D Models Across the Asset Lifecycle” with Kevyn Renner, Chevron and Tom Fiske, ARC Advisory Group.
It addresses:
This session consists of two presentations, one by an owner/operator and one by ARC. The first presentation will describe some interesting things that one owner/operator is doing with virtual reality models of their facility. The second will provide ARC’s perspective on the value of using process modeling across the complete asset lifecycle and the AIM challenges to ensure that these models have high fidelity.

“The Role of Design and Scan-based 3D Models” (Panel Discussion) with Kevyn Renner, Chevron, Larry Lynch, Shaw Group, Eric Hoffman, Quantapoint, Costantino Lanza, INOVx Solutions, Robert Axtman, Dassault Systems and Brian Ahern, Trimble.
