AccuProx analog inductive proximity sensors can sense objects up to four times that of typical shielded and unshielded tubular analog sensors, without compromising output accuracy. With long-range, tight repeat accuracy and linear outputs, the sensors are suitable for applications that require precise position sensing and measurement or detection of small variances, such as error-proofing, saw blade deflection, material blemish detection, absolute angle detection and part positioning. The analog sensor outputs an electrical signal that varies proportionally to the position of a metal target within its sensing range. Also capable of sensing ferrous and nonferrous metals, they can be used to ensure distance, size and thickness for various types of measurements. The sensors are available with both current and voltage outputs on the same sensor. Both shielded and unshielded models are come in 12, 18 and 30-mm tubular barrels, with a variety of connection options.
