In 2020, Alex became the Engineering Project Manager for a major expansion of a food processing facility, increasing its size by over 400,000 sq ft. This project incorporated energy-efficient processes and sustainable practices, such as wastewater reduction and renewable energy integration. Why Alex Chose This Career

Engineering runs in Alex’s family, with both his father and brother being engineers. Growing up, Alex’s father held leadership positions in the pulp and paper manufacturing industry, giving Alex the opportunity to tour manufacturing plants from a young age. This early exposure strongly influenced Alex’s decision to pursue a career in engineering, allowing him to follow in his family’s footsteps. Alex feels incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to continue this legacy.
