He has a work history of continued growth and advancement on a personal and professional level while remaining active in my continued education and with the community, showing growth, leadership, vision and community service.
Achievements, Advancement & Career-related Industry Contributions
Career growth: 2006 – Design Engineer for the Product Group at FLSmidth: Within less than a year, Jeffrey was promoted to Product Specialist becoming the youngest and quickest to attain that status within the company. 2008 – Product Specialist his responsibilities were increased to encompass an entire plant area composed of multiple equipment types. 2011 – Promoted to Senior Design Engineer, he was given a primary role in overseeing the integration of the engineering departments and designed and launched updates to multiple major equipment lines. 2013 – Joined Bridge Gap Engineering as a Senior Project Engineer: He designed and launched the company’s first product line, and BGE quickly became the market leaders in SNCR emission technology.
In 2014, as Chief Project Engineer/Manager, he executed larger, more complex projects using a variety of internal and external resources and took on a leading role for company sales initiatives. In 2016, as Director of Engineering, was responsible for the supervision of personnel and activities within engineering to accommodate all phases of executing capital investment projects. In 2020, as Vice President, Global Engineering Operations, he was responsible for all engineering and execution activities throughout BGE’s global office network. He has regularly contributed to IEEE/PCA conference as a presenter of industry relevant topics.
Non-work-related Activities & Hobbies
“I am active in the local chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers as the Vice President and will become President for the next two years. I have also taken over as the chairman of the scholarship committee which evaluates and awards college scholarships to local high school students pursuing engineering. I enjoy promoting engineering engagement within the engineering community and cultivating the next generation of engineers into the industry.

- “I have been active with the Pennsylvania State University College of Engineering for the past five consecutive years in being a project sponsor for their engineering capstone program and have worked with student teams to develop solutions to industry issues.
- “I joined Bridge Gap Engineering when it was a small startup company as a Senior Project Engineer and have consistently grown my individual role in the company to the point that I am responsible for all global engineering operations at three office locations while also have been instrumental in the company’s overall growth.
Why did they choose this career?
“I have always been interested in how things work and grew up building and taking things apart. My interest only grew in mechanical equipment and manufacturing processes as I was exposed to larger and more complex systems. I enjoy all aspects of walking into a problem and developing a solution and find it to be the most fascinating industry to be a part of.”
