In this webcast, Jim Madsen and Mac Duke, Bearing Product Managers for Baldor Electric Company, will explore the importance of seal design and how an advanced sealing system can help extend bearing life in your application.

Jim Madsen: 

Jim Madsen is currently the Product Manager for Mounted Spherical Roller Bearings at Baldor-Dodge He started his career with Baldor in 2011 in an International Business Development role. In this position, Jim was instrumental in setting up a new manufacturing operation in Shanghai, China. Prior to joining Baldor-Dodge, Jim has worked for 24 years in the bearing industry in both operations management and product management roles. Jim holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from North Carolina State University.

Mac Duke: 

Mac Duke is currently the Product Manager for Mounted Ball Bearings at Baldor-Dodge. He started his career with Baldor in 2001 and after graduating from the CAPT’s program represented their complete line of Mechanical Power Transmission Components in Michigan. He has had numerous positions of responsibility in the Baldor organization including Field Sales Engineer, Inside Sales Supervisor, Mechanical Training Specialist and Product Manager for Dodge Mounted Plain Bearings. In his current position, Mac is responsible for developing and implementing the tactical and strategic mounted ball bearing direction for Baldor-Dodge globally. Mac received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Clemson University and a MBA from Northwood University’s Devos School of Management.
