The Baldor-Dodge Type E-Xtra bearing by Baldor Electric Co. features the exclusive “XTS” triple-lip seal, an advanced system that protects against contamination in dusty or wet environments. Oversized dual Springlok collars act as flingers for added seal protection. For extreme conditions, customers may also choose the “XTS Plus” sealing system, which incorporates a seal kit for extra protection. Bearings are preassembled, prelubricated, and factory adjusted for easy installation. The high-capacity tapered roller bearing insert allows for a combination of radial and thrust loads, yielding high load ratings, while a carburized inner ring has been added to absorb shock and resist cracking. The Type E-Xtra is offered in a variety of configurations for maximum application flexibility. The offering includes two- and four-bolt pillow blocks, flanges, piloted flanges, top angle take-ups, and wide-slot take-ups.
