TLC’s Gelfo re-elected to ACG board of directors

Mark Gelfo, principal at TLC Engineering for Architecture, was elected to his second term on the ACG board of directors.

Mark Gelfo, a principal and director of the Jacksonville office of TLC Engineering for Architecture, was elected to his second three-year term on the Associated Air Balance Council Commissioning Group (ACG) Board of Directors. In addition, he has been elected to another year as secretary/treasurer.  Gelfo is a registered engineer, a LEED AP, and a Certified Commissioning Authority.

The ACG, administers the Certified Commissioning Authority examination. Commissioning is a major aspect of sustainable building design; fundamental commissioning of the building energy systems is a pre-requisite for USGBC LEED certification and additional credit points can be earned through enhanced commissioning.  TLC has 30 ACG-certified Commissioning Authorities.
