Power distribution blocks – 2012-12-21
Wago's DIN-rail mount Power Distribution Blocks are designed to replace screw-based terminations with spring pressure technology to reduce installation time for conductors.
Wago Corporation’s Engineering Services division has developed five DIN-rail mount Power Distribution Blocks. Routing higher-current power supplies to PLCs, I/O and associated components within space-restricted panels, four models are rated up to 30 A. The fifth, a slim model, is rated up to 65 A. Featuring two poles for connecting both sides of the power supply output and daisy-chaining, 30 A block connection configurations range from 2×8 to 2×24. The 65 A unit is a single-pole block.
Wago Power Distribution Blocks replace traditional, screw-based terminations with Cage Clamp Spring Pressure Technology. This minimizes installation time (no torquing) for all conductors AWG 28-12. It also eliminates connections-related warranty claims – the maintenance-free connections are vibration-proof and thermal cycling resistant. The 30 A blocks employ Slide Stops to prevent sliding on DIN-rail once mounted.
