Portable chemical analysis instrument

Multi-parameter meters from Mettler Toledo measure pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and ion concentration.

Portable devices perform multiple functions

Walk-around product analysis is easier with a new range of three multi-parameter portable meters from Mettler Toledo for measurements of pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and ion concentration. The company says all three instruments are based on the rugged design of its SevenGo, and are watertight according to IP67. This means that the instruments and accessories are sealed and designed to withstand dusty, dirty, or wet environments.

Mettler Toledo says the three new meter models include :
• SevenGo Duo SG23 – routine dual-channel pH/conductivity meter with simple plug-and-measure operation;
• SevenGo Duo pro SG78 – professional meter for pH/ion/conductivity that combines all functions of pH and conductivity measurement with a full-fledged ion mode; and
• SevenGo Duo pro SG68 – professional meter for pH/ion/dissolved oxygen with features like automatic air pressure compensation, helpful ion mode, and a wireless infrared communication port.

Built-in Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM) functions help avoid mistakes and save time, such as:
Correct identification of the sensor is guaranteed upon connection to the meter: the sensor type and serial number are automatically recognized;
Calibration data, including date and time, is stored on the sensor. This eliminates mistakes when transferring the sensor to another instrument. Extra security is achieved by only using the most recent calibration for all subsequent measurements; and
Extra security functions like checking the calibration history or the maximum temperature that a sensor has been exposed to help maximize the uptime of your equipment. In addition, the factory calibration certificate can be re-printed if lost.

The SG78 and SG68 professional-grade devices offer a menu in 10 different languages.
