The winners of the Plant Engineering 2017 Product of the Year awards represent the best in new ideas to help plants run smarter, safer, faster, and more efficiently.

Schneider Electric received the 2017 Grand Award, given to the new product that received the highest number of votes among all 15 categories. The Grand Award, and the 54 winners in 15 categories ranging from asset management to safety, were honored with gold, silver, and bronze trophies on April 16 at CFE Media’s awards event in Chicago.

This year’s winners were selected by Plant Engineering’s readers from more than 100 entries. They reflect the new ideas to solve traditional problems, as well as innovations that will help better implement the new technology available today.

A full report on the awards event and coverage of the Top Plant and Engineering Leaders Under 40 recognition will appear in the May issue of Plant Engineering.
