Siemens Energy and Automation has named Dennis Sadlowski as Chief Operating Officer effective July 1. As part of his new responsibilities, Sadlowski will lead the Power Distribution & Controls Division of SE&A with the Apparatus, Controls and Residential Business Units all reporting to him.

Sadlowski joined Siemens in July 2000 as the vice president and general manager of the Electrical Apparatus Business Unit in Norcross, GA. He has spent the last three years in Germany as the head of Automation & Drives Sensor Business.

Randall L. Stephenson , chief operating officer of AT&T, Inc., has been named to Emerson ’s board of directors.

Stephenson is responsible for all wireline operations at AT&T, having been appointed to this position at SBC, which acquired AT&T and adopted its name last fall, in April 2004. “Randall’s strong experience will be a valuable asset for Emerson,” said David N. Farr, chairman, CEO and president. “His insights will be invaluable as Emerson continues to focus on improving shareholder value through internal efficiencies and acquisition opportunities.”

ABB has named Robert N. Hausler as vice-president marketing and strategic planning for instrumentation in its Automation Products Division. He will be based at ABB’s U.S. headquarters for instrumentation in Warminster, PA.

“Bob has a proven track record of bringing successful solutions to market; and his strong background in control systems helps him explain and promote the bottom-line benefits of ABB’s combined instrumentation and control system solution to our customers,” said Josef Guth, head of ABB’s Instrumentation business unit.
