New energy and sustainability director at Hankins & Anderson

Hankins & Anderson (H&A) announces Rob McAtee to be the new director of energy and sustainability services.

Virginia-based design firm, Hankins & Anderson (H&A) announces Rob McAtee, PE, LEED AP BD+C, CEM, CxA, as its new director of energy and sustainability services.

McAtee began his career at H&A in 2003 and served as the director of mechanical engineering for eight years. He was promoted to vice president in 2010. He has more than 20 years experience in the design, analysis, and enhancement of building energy systems.

H&A’s Energy and Sustainability services team draws upon the experience of the entire organization to provide integrated solutions for enhancing energy and water efficiency, and promoting sustainability in new and existing facilities.

The services provided by this new department include energy auditing, performance contracting consulting, commissioning and retro-commissioning, renewable energy systems, sustainability management and LEED services, building envelope services, net zero energy, and water.
