Manufacturing plant shares its history

Siemens' Norwood, Ohio, manufacturing plant, winners of Plant Engineering's 2009 Top Plant award, released a video detailing the plant's history.

Siemens’ Norwood, OH, Motor Manufacturing Plant was the 2009 Top Plant winner. A video produced by Siemens looks at the plant’s history, (the plant was built in 1898) its deep roots in the Cincinnati area, and the reinvestment by Siemens into the plant. Siemens spent more than $17 million to purchase new machinery and equipment including $8.5 million worth of machinery and equipment to be used for research and development.
