IR thermometer

Model IR201 is a small, lightweight noncontact infrared (IR) thermometer with laser pointer. The thermometer measures surface temperatures from -58 to 518 F with 1-deg resolution. The narrow field of view measures a 1-in. target at a distance of 6-in. Emissivity is fixed at 0.95. The thermometer features data hold, max hold, and visual overrange indication. Dial indicators

Dial indicators are available for differential pressure measurement, flow rate and liquid level. Instruments feature a rupture-proof bellows; dial sizes of 3-in., 31/2-in., 41/2-in., and 6-in.; NEMA 4/IP65 rating; and pulsation damping. The indicating pointer traverses a 270-deg arc. BACnet controllers

Continuum is a product line of native BACnet controllers and front-end workstation software. BACnet is a data communication protocol and an ISO standard for building automation and control networks developed under the auspices of ASHRAE. Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.

There were the big events for the year, including the United States as Partner Country at Hannover Messe in April and the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago in September. There's also the matter of the U.S. presidential elections in November, which promise to shape policy in manufacturing for years to come.

But the year started with global economic turmoil, as a slowdown in Chinese manufacturing triggered a worldwide stock hiccup that sent values plummeting. The continued plunge in world oil prices has resulted in a slowdown in exploration and, by extension, the manufacture of exploration equipment.
