Rotork’s Skilmatic electro-hydraulic valve actuators combine facilitate remote supervision with asset management that encompasses accurate control, monitoring and alarm signaling, operational data logging and diagnostics. They are designed for emergency shutdown (ESD) duties for oil and gas applications. They can be used for automated and unattended valve chambers at pump stations and are designed to isolate sections of a pipeline in the event of a potential emergency. The ESD function can be configured to operate on loss of mains power or control signal. Additional options include a second ESD circuit and a manual reset. The Skilmatic actuator is also offered with a partial stroke testing capability, which enables the valve to be function tested without interrupting the process. The actuator has a double-sealed electric enclosure that is watertight and dustproof and rated up to IP68.
